FAQ's

How do tickets work, what’s included?

Tickets for Digital Dessert Goals are $25 and include access to our first ever digital event. The format is different than our in-person festivals, as we adapt for the pandemic. Everyone’s safety is top priority. While we’re staying at home, we should be indulging in desserts! Your ticket includes:

  • Two days of exciting original content, both live and pre-recorded, available to stream for a week after the event. Videos will be on Zoom and Vimeo

  • Access to the Virtual Vendor Marketplace including 20+ (and growing) nationwide dessert vendors offering discounts, free shipping, and exclusive desserts. You’ll receive the link the moment you purchase your ticket! All desserts on the Marketplace are available for purchase directly from the vendors, with 100% of the profits going to the small businesses

  • Discount code for a Dessert Demo Box from Red Velvet NYC, so you can bake along with the live demo

  • Recipes and shopping lists for all the demos and activities

  • A Virtual Goody Bag with lifestyle products, snacks, and other sweet treats

  • Entry to win surprise prizes

  • $1 of each ticket donated to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America

What if I am busy on the days of the event?

That’s not a problem at all because all the videos and content will be available to view for a whole week after the event, until August 8th. Plus you’ll still receive access to the Vendor Marketplace, the virtual goody bag and our other surprises!

Will the videos be accessible after the event ends?

Yes! All attendees will receive a link to access all the videos and content for a whole week after the event, until August 8th, including the live and pre-recorded sessions. So if you can only tune in for one session and want to watch the rest later, you’ll have plenty of time.

Do I need to purchase tickets for my children?

You just need 1 ticket per family. You'll receive access via your ticket confirmation email to the Vendor Marketplace immediately with your ticket purchase. Then on July 31st you'll get the link to access the event content. You'll be able to watch all the videos and access the content until August 8th, so you can do all the activities over the weekend or spread them out over the course of the week. The event is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, and much cheaper than attending an event in-person together as you just need 1 ticket for all of you.

Do I need to RSVP for sessions to secure a spot?

No need! On July 31st all registered attendees will receive login to the event website, where you’ll be able to access the recorded sessions and there will be links for the live panels and demos. At the scheduled time, just click the link and it will pop open a window to the live Zoom session. No need to register.

What’s the deal with the Virtual Goody Bag?

On August 1st after the event wraps up you’ll receive your Virtual Goody Bag via email. The Goody Bag will include discounts from brands we love, music, recipes, and other surprises to brighten your day and continue the dessert party.

How does the Vendor Marketplace work?

As soon as you purchase your ticket on Eventbrite in your confirmation email you’ll receive a link to unlock the Vendor Marketplace. The marketplace includes small business dessert vendors across the nation, each with a discount code for free shipping or a percentage of. All the vendors are shipping nationwide, so you can order desserts and have a mini dessert fest at home! The deals are available right now through early August, so the sooner you purchase your ticket the longer you’ll have access. Designed to evoke the same delight experienced at the physical festival, the marketplace will also provide a much-needed revenue stream for small hospitality businesses impacted by the pandemic.

Why is the event virtual and not IRL like you usually do?

Until we can safely gather the dessert community, we don’t feel comfortable hosting in-person events. During this pandemic we still want to support dessert small businesses and provide joy, so our goal with Digital Dessert Goals is to create a fun experience for all ages from the safety of our homes.

Can I transfer my tickets?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket via Eventbrite. Detailed instructions here.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

No refunds will be offered and all sales are final. You may transfer your ticket to another individual via Eventbrite.

Is the event child/family-friendly?

Yes! We welcome all children and families. The program will include family-friendly baking demos, crafts, dancing and more, so it’s a very fun family activity!
